Hotel Lily ★★

Location is brilliant for what we wanted to do. Close to train and buses for easy access to most areas. The price was reasonable for London for that amount of time. We stayed for 3 nights.

The room could have been cleaner. The bathroom was tiny and not in a good state of repair. Tiles coming off the wall, stained grout everywhere and the toilet seat moved all the time. Currently it is stuck on with what looks like a 3D picture hanging square. The shower needed the middle knob pulled up between the taps to work, that wouldn't stay up, but we got clean feet! The bedside light didn't work and despite reporting this it was not fixed, although apparently an electrician came and looked at it. I hope they didn't pay for the service! The last morning there was no hot water. I think our car had better accommodation. The heating was overbearing and we were unable to turn it down. On opening the window it nearly detached itself from the frame. Very shabby hotel in dire need of some TLC.

The bed was comfy

It was tatty, the window handle was broken, the tiles in the shower were broken, and there were stains on the shower curtain. There was constant doors slamming in the building at night. So didn't get much sleep.

The location is great, easy access to metro stations and bus stops. The bed and towels were clean. Surrounded by nice restaurants and supermarkets. It is an affordable place that provides you privacy and comfort. The room had a water kettle, tea and coffee. The bed and pillows were comfy

It is an old dirty building, the floors and walls are dirty. The windows and bathroom walls are moldy. There are many broken things: doors, hangers the bathroom sink. We didn’t take off our shoes in the bedroom because the floor was dirty. The bathroom has a higher bathtub which is dangerous, my mom slipped hurting her arm and back, it is really hard to get out of it and there is nothing to hold from.

Very dirty slept on top of the bedding shower curtain was in the bath shower hose was spraying more than the head toilet cistern ran all night couldn’t close the windows or adjust heating Didn’t complain due to the short stay and the amount of problems

This is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. It was close to the venue we were visiting and was perfectly reasonable accomation to put your head down for the night

The hotel is on a main road and the windows did not shut properly so it was very busy all night, bring ear plugs! There were signs of damp and mould in the bathroon and the wardrobe.

Very handy for the tube

Electrical socket held on with tape,only half lights in room working, toilet seat loose so changed room and that had a loose toilet seat, broken shower head holder and radiator wasn't working and we needed staff to get us into room as door temperamental!!!! Whole place would benefit from a good maintenance team.

The room has a good price and was near to the metro station!

I would prefer to be renovated and more cleaned!

The tap on the bathroom was making a funny noise so we had to twist it to stop the pipes from making the noise al night room 124 , hopefully they get that fixed , but other than that hot water fine , bed comfortable and TV was good enough

The decor was abysmal, the wallpaper was all torn in the main corridors, the paint job looked like the owners had let there children loose on it, everything painted grey including the woodwork which was in the same paint as the walls not gloss? The ceiling was falling in on the second floor which i stayed on. The shower kept falling to the bottom of the shower rail, there was mould on the sealant all the way round the bath.

One of the days we stayed at hotel lily, someone had been in our room while we were out. I used the powers of investigation to deduce this might have been a plasterer... There was a mess left in the bathroom (plaster on the floor, sink and surfaces) all our toiletries/ toothbrushes were moved, the bin was moved and wet toilet roll bundles were on top of the bin with bits of plaster on. One of our towels was on the bedroom floor... Possibly used for cleaning up, not sure. Felt it was strange to have a possible work person come into the room while we were out and leave a mess. The whole place is generally very dirty and broken and old. Things leaking and missing. Items left in the room from previous tenants. The beds were freshly made and felt clean. There was a cleaner in the corridors each morning we could ask for spare toilet roll etc. The staff at the front desk was nice. The location is situated a few mins from west brompton tube which is really handy. The hotel is open 24hrs which is nice too.

Very spartan room but everything needs renovation. Paint peeling furniture warn. Clean though served its purpose cheap hotel in london

The rooms like a small box ,depressing ,the chairs cover old dirty ,the mattress old you can feel the coils of the mattress,the glasses was not noise canceling you can hear everyone out and cars .

Location. As its near to the train station.

Everything. Its very dirty. Cant even use the kettle as its very dirty inside.

Location was great

The mattress was awful like sleeping on the floor, we went down to reception and silly o’clock because of the discomfort to complain lightly, we were moved to a filthy basement room instead.
